Riot Games was co-founded by Brandon Beck and Marc Merrill. They partnered with Steve "Guinsoo" Feak, the previous designer of the popular Warcraft III  custom map Defence of the Ancients, and Steve "Pendragon" Mescon, the administrator of the former official support base for the map to develop League Of Legends.  Guinsoo made DotA All-stars by inserting his own mix of content, greatly expanding the number of the heroes, and adding recipes, numerous items and various game play changes. League of Legends was born "when a couple of very active DotA community members believed that the game play was so much fun and so innovative that it represented the spawning of a new genre and deserved to be its own professional game with significantly enhanced features and around-game services.  Riot Games officially opened its office in September 2006, and currently has over 1000 people working on League of Legends.  The game was in a closed beta from April 10, 2009, to October 22, 2009. It then transitioned to open beta until release. In March 2013, Riot Games released a beta version of an OS X client in addition to their Windows client.

In League of Legends there are five general game types there are Tutorial, Custom, co-Op vs. AI, Normal or Ranked. I like to play more Ranked matches because its gets me more bonuses.

Tutorial mode is a set of two introductory games that teach the basics. It is intended to help new players learn important things, which might not otherwise be obvious.

Custom mode allows players to create games on their own, just like there are couple of friends who wants to create their own game to play together. The teams can be uneven for example, 3v4 or 2v5

Co-op vs. AI mode matches players against a team of bots. Similar to the Tutorial mode, it is also intended mainly as a way for inexperienced players to learn, but it also used by more experienced players as a way of experimenting with new ideas or getting an easy First Win of the Day

Ranked mode is available to players that are level 30.  the two teams cannot have an identical champion. In ranked matches. In ranked matches you get more bonuses to buy new champions and more shields

League of Legends

League of legends is one of the famous games in the world. I used to play this game usually, in free time because I take allot of fun in it. League of legends is a multiplayer online battle arena video game developed and published by Riot Games. It was first announced on October 7 2008 and released on October 27 2009.

  

This game play is about two teams of five Champions, there are 117 different Champions from which to choose. Each player begins at opposing sides of a map near a building called a Nexus. A match is won when either team's Nexus is destroyed. Along the way, each player gains levels from killing the opposing team's Champions and Minions. Its easy to kill minions even if you are a low level in the game. After you kill minions or champions you will have money to buy shields, arms, poison to make the champion stronger.. Champions are not the same, some release fire like kogmaw, some relase arrows like ashe, some fights with their hand like jax there are various of champions that have there abilty.
